Timing is Everything
My day 28 photo isn't much. It's my nightstand table. I was feeling a bit exhausted and just not well a for a few days, and almost as soon as I got home I was ready for bed. I did hold out for a little while. But not long.
On this day, I knew I hadn't taken a photo and decided that this one photo would pretty much sum up my day nicely.
As you can see, there are two books (both pregnancy books), a glass of water, my Mylanta bottle (praise to those who invented the wonder elixir), a napkin (where a snack probably had once been lying), my alarm, the bottom half of my lamp and my cellphone charger is that USB looking device beside the water.
Sums things pretty nicely right?
And yes, I did go to bed right after taking this shot.
This photo did have some post processing done to it. It was converted to Black and White, as well as shadow and noise reduction.
Round Two
I posted on my regular blog about a good gooey comfort food called Peach Dump Cake I'd made. Well, I enjoyed it so much I had to go back to the store for more ingredients and make round two. It was delicious, and this shot of the dessert getting ready to go into the oven became my photo of the day.

Tomorrow
One of the best things about having Chinese food is breaking into the fortune cookie at the end of each meal. Well, the hubster and I had some takeout, and I just had to get a shot of our fortunes. They both spoke of good things happening "Tomorrow". In light of the things that kind of rocked our little world the other day, these were very right on target and made me smile.
After all, tomorrow is another day. (Said in my best Scarlet O'Hara voice.)
On The Farm
Project 365 - Day 25
This was a tough one for me. Not taking the picture part, but deciding which one should be my shot of the day.
I'd spent the weekend at my parents farm and took several photos on and around the farm. It took some time, but I finally narrowed it down to two photos. This one was the ultimate winner.
The reason this one became the winner is because of the different textures in the shot. You can get a sense for the old rusty sign and piece of wood against that of the newer wire and post.
This is actually the back side of the sign. The front is so faded you can't even read what it used to say. My guess would be something to the effect of "No Tresspassing".
Sorry again for the delay in posting. I haven't been feeling well (mostly in the evening which is why the last few shots have been posted in the mornings before I leave for work), and I just haven't been online that much the past few days to get caught up.

Reflections
Sorry for the delay. I had no luck posting a picture yesterday. For some reason the upload wouldn't work.
Anyway, Here's day 24's photo.
This is another new experiment for me and photography. That of reflections. I spent the weekend at my folks house, and my mom has these mirrors on her coffee table. The reflections just kept drawing my gaze so I decided to give a try at photographing it.
I'm thinking it's not too bad for a first timer.

Life Is Good
Since I've fallen a bit behind in posting the pictures, I'm going to try posting a couple a day to get myself caught up. Luckily, I haven't missed a day in photo taking. It's just taken me a bit longer these past several days to get the photos uploaded.
So with that being said, on with Day 23's photo.
Around day 23 things started looking up around here. And as it turns out, my photo of the day for day 23 is my "Life Is Good" bag. I received this bag as a Christmas gift and it's one of my favorite gifts. It pretty much goes everywhere with me. Right now it's home to my knitting since I tucked that project away in the bag to take with me out of town over the weekend.
Unexpected
Some days you're just minding your own business, doing mundane things and you suddenly find something unexpected. That's what happened to me on Day 22. I was going about my day, doing laundry when I happened to peek out the window. The view I saw was awesome. And so it became my Project 365 picture of the day.
The only thing I dislike, and a drawback for living in an older neighborhood, is that I couldn't quite get all of the powerlines out of the shot. But I do love the bird's nest high up in the tree.
